• Students will have the opportunity to explore the water based on his/her ability
• Students will be tested on the first day of instruction and placed in a swimming group according to his/her swimming ability
• Students will be graded based on their ACTIVE participation in class, not on swimming ability
• It is expected that all students put forth his/her best effort in swimming class to gain the most success
